1. Overview
Encrypto Secure ("Encrypto", "the App", "we", "our", or "us") is a privacy-focused text encryption app for iPhone. The App is built to help users encrypt, decrypt, and store sensitive text locally on their own devices.
Our core approach is simple: your content stays on your device. Encrypto Secure does not require an account, does not operate a user cloud, and does not process your encrypted data on external servers.
2. Information We Collect
Encrypto Secure does not collect personal data from users for analytics, advertising, profiling, or account creation.
We do not collect or transmit the following categories of information to our servers:
- Encrypted text entered into the app
- Decrypted text displayed by the app
- Passphrases or biometric secrets
- OpenPGP public or private keys
- Encrypted notes or vault content
- Usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or behavioral profiles
3. Local Processing and Storage
All sensitive operations in Encrypto Secure are performed locally on the device. Depending on the feature being used, the app may store encrypted notes, settings, locally managed key material, and security preferences on the user’s device only.
Where applicable, secure device storage mechanisms such as iOS system storage and Keychain-based protections may be used to support app functionality. Data stored by the app remains under the user’s control unless the user chooses to export, share, or copy it.
4. No Tracking or Analytics
Encrypto Secure does not use third-party advertising SDKs, tracking frameworks, profiling tools, or analytics services to monitor user behavior.
We do not use the app to build user profiles, serve personalized advertising, or measure engagement through remote analytics dashboards.
5. No Cloud Processing
Encrypto Secure does not provide cloud backup, hosted account storage, or remote data synchronization. Your encrypted notes, passphrase-based content, biometric-protected material, and locally managed keys are not uploaded to our servers for processing.
If you choose to export information, copy text, or share content outside the app, that action is initiated and controlled by you.
6. Device Features and Permissions
Encrypto Secure may request access to certain device capabilities only when required for a specific feature.
- Biometric authentication: Face ID or Touch ID may be used to help protect access to certain app features or locally protected material.
- Camera access: If QR-based import or scanning features are used, camera access may be requested to scan supported QR sequences.
These permissions are used only for the feature you invoke and are not used for analytics, advertising, or hidden background profiling.
7. Purchases
Encrypto Secure may offer premium features through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Purchase transactions are processed by Apple, not by Encrypto Secure directly.
We do not receive your full payment card information. Apple may provide limited transaction status information necessary to determine whether premium access should be unlocked on your device.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Because Encrypto Secure operates locally, retention is primarily controlled by the user. Data remains on the device until it is deleted by the user, removed through app settings or security actions, or deleted when the app is uninstalled.
Certain security features, such as emergency wipe functionality, may permanently remove protected data from the device when triggered by the user or by the security conditions configured by the user.
9. Security
Encrypto Secure is designed to use modern encryption and local device protections to help safeguard user data stored on the device. No software can guarantee absolute security in every circumstance, but we aim to minimize exposure by avoiding cloud processing and limiting unnecessary data flows.
Users remain responsible for choosing strong passphrases, protecting access to their devices, and understanding the consequences of exporting or sharing encrypted or decrypted content outside the app.
10. Children’s Privacy
Encrypto Secure is not directed to children under the age of 13 and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because the app does not require an account and does not collect user data for server-side processing, we do not knowingly maintain personal data from children through the app.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or clarifications to our privacy practices. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
